Skinwell

Featuring premium brands like Obagi and Vivite, Skinwell was an online retailer of medical-grade skincare and wellness products. The company
hired Medium to create a website offering convenient online shopping for customers who traditionally purchased their skincare products at the
dermatologist’s office.

We established an online wellness destination with a clean, modern presentation that was both aesthetically pleasing and simple in its information
architecture. We unified the brand’s online presence through the use of lifestyle photography, featuring beautiful, real women rather than traditional,
posed beauty photography. For the primary logo treatment, we selected a graphic of a lotus flower as a symbol of renewal and transformation.
A cherry quartz tone was selected as the key brand color, in recognition of the gem’s reputed balancing and healing properties.

The Drupal-based website featured an easy-to-navigate user interface, tabbed product categories and a community portal.*
